Play On Productions worked alongside Preston Black History Group led by Clinton Smith to put on the Battle of Bamber Bridge commemoration event at Ye Olde Hob Inn on June 21, 2025. The 82nd anniversary of the 1943 conflict between Black US soldiers and white military police over segregation.
